Little Brother by Cory Doctorow

When Marcus and his friends are caught in the aftermath of a major terrorist attack in San Francisco and interrogated without stop for days on end, the Department of Homeland Security sends them away with a message. Tell anyone what happens and we will hunt you down. Soon, San Francisco is a police city with outrageous and unfair treatment of its inhabitants. Marcus and his friends go after the unfair government to try and sort out this mess. This is an amazing book with lots of technology and action. Ages 13 and up.
