Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is about an 11-year old boy named Harry who lives with his terrible aunt and uncle who have lied and told him his parents died in a car crash leaving him with a lightning shaped scar on his forehead. But now the truth comes out and Harry learns he is the most famous wizard ever. When Harry was a a baby, Lord Voldemort killed his parents but when he tried, Lord Voldemort could not kill Harry as a baby. Now he attends Hogwart's school for wizards with his new friends Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid. But something is hidden at Hogwart's and it is Harry's job to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
