Thirteen year old Rory Hemessy is a regular boy until he meets Hex the magician who opens his eyes to Manhattan. Enemies and friends are revealed. This book is very descriptive and is an enjoyable read. I recommend this book to people who like fantasy. Grades 5 and up.
