Lincoln Mendoza moved from his bad neighborhood where he would get into fights to a better neighborhood. In his new school, his basketball team has to face his former team with all his old friends, including his best friend. Lincoln also meets a girl at his new school. He doesn't want to beat his old team badly but also doesn't want to disappoint his new team. He moved because a burglar broke into their house and stole their things. This book is good at describing Lincoln's thoughts and feelings. I would recommend this to people who enjoy basketball.
