Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

This is the last book in the series and you may only be able to understand this if you read the previous books. This one is Harry's last year at Hogwarts. He tries to discover love and deep magic without the support of Dumbeldore. He eventually faces off with Voldemort. The positive elements are this book is very detailed, but that makes it long. Any age can read this book and should read the first six books before reading this one.
