It is a well written book about the Beaumont family having savvies. A savvy is a talent that you get when you turn 13. When Mibs Beaumont's birthday is around the corner, something terrible happens to Mr. Beaumont. Find out how Mibs deals with having her savvy and her dad. I recommend this "Newbery Honor" book to kids who are looking for a good book to read.
